Music fans can descend upon a purpose-built event site in Waterford to see the likes of UB40’s Ali, Astro and Mickey, the Darkness and Maverick Sabre perform live. The UB40 members will take to the stage on Saturday to perform new tunes alongside the classics which made them famous, such as ‘Red, Red Wine’, ‘Rat In Mi Kitchen’ and many other enduring hits. Supporting them will be Soul II Soul’s Caron Wheeler, Jazzie B and his MC, performing reminiscent tunes such as ‘Keep On Movin’ and ‘Back To Life’.  On Sunday, Ireland’s own Maverick Sabre will rouse the crowd with ‘Walk Into The Sun’ and tracks from his upcoming album. Co-headliners the Darkness are also back with a brand new album, summoning more of the eccentric rock energy demonstrated by hits like ‘I Believe in a Thing Called Love’.
