Voucher Pages Feature on Silicon Republic

Following recent national press coverage for Voucher Pages across a number of radio and press publications such as The Sunday Business Post, please check out a feature on our new Coupon Platform on Silicon Republic.

Irish online discount voucher directory Voucher Pages has launched a new discount coupon platform to allow users to view discounted offers for products and services without having to subscribe or provide any personal details online.

Voucher Pages, which Ronan Hickey founded in 2011, is based at NovaUCD and is an Enterprise Ireland client company.

Last year, Voucher Pages launched a free location-based iPhone app to allow people to search for discounted deals from retailers, hairdressers, beauty salons, restaurants and hotels around Ireland.

People who use Voucher Pages’ new platform to search for discounted deals can retrieve a coupon they can then use to purchase products and services directly from the retailer, according to Hickey.

“This is a key advantage for consumers over other deal providers,” he said. “It ensures money is not wasted on deals that are never redeemed by consumers.”

Hickey is also aiming to double the company’s user base over the coming months to reach 130,000 users.

Voucher Pages now has more than 1,000 coupons for discounted offers available each day.

Voucher Pages Set to Double Users with Launch of New Consumer Focused Coupon Platform

New Vocuher & Coupon Platform to Help Shoppers Save Money as they Shop

Voucher Pages, which provides shoppers with a single location to source the largest choice of discounts for products and services across Ireland, today announced the launch of its new consumer focused coupon platform.

A year on from successfully launching a location-based iPhone App, Voucher Pages’ new coupon platform allows users to view available discounted offers without needing to subscribe or provide any personal details or even purchase online.

Unlike other deal providers, consumers using Voucher Pages’ new platform retrieve a coupon which they then use to purchase in-store or online at a discounted rate, directly from the retailer. This ensures that consumers do not waste money on deals that they do not redeem.

The company is also actively recruiting new businesses across Ireland to ensure the choice of suppliers and savings for its users grows significantly over the coming months.

Voucher Pages, which currently has over 1,000 coupons available each day and thousands of users, plans to double the number of users with its new platform in the next few months.

Voucher Pages, an Enterprise Ireland client company, is located at NovaUCD, the Centre for New Ventures and Entrepreneurs, at University College Dublin. The company was established in 2011 by Ronan Hickey who has extensive commercial experience covering product management, business development and marketing. Ronan graduated from University College Dublin with a BComm and an MBS (Marketing Management) degree.

Speaking at the launch, Ronan Hickey, founder, Voucher Pages said, “Our new and unique coupon platform offers shoppers the most consumer-friendly method to access the largest choice of money-saving discounts in their local area or across Ireland with the purchase only taking place when using a service or buying a product. This is a key advantage for consumers over other deal providers. It ensures money is not wasted on deals that are never redeemed by consumers.”

He added, “We expect to double our user base over the coming months with our new coupon platform.”

He concluded, “With current offers including €10 off your bill at Tesco or 50% off a pizza, thousands of euros worth of savings are available every day for top brands such as Debenhams and M&S, travel providers and local services from beauty salons to dentists.”

The new coupon platform is available via www.voucherpages.ie or by downloading the free Voucher Pages iPhone App.

The company has to date received funding and support from the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Enterprise Board.
